Side Effects of Adderall I’ve Experienced
Hey everyone. It’s your favorite blogger back with more information about Adderall and the side effects of Adderall. Today, I want to talk about the side effects I personally experienced when I was under the influence of Adderall, and how they almost ruined my life before I ditched the wagon and got my life straight.
So, before you delve deeper into the side-effects, you need to understand what does Adderall do to the body? Adderall is generally prescribed for patients suffering from attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). It keeps them calm, focused, and slowly treats the disorder one step at a time. Since this drug is categorized as a central nervous system stimulant, you can be sure that this is not an over-the-counter drug, and can only be prescribed under special circumstances.
Do you know what else this means? Well, it means that this drug can be abused and used for recreational purposes as well. And that is exactly what I did when I was abusing Adderall for personal euphoria. I was ignorant when it came to Adderall side effects, but I want to let you all know that abusing any drug comes at a cost.
If you are using this drug for the right purposes, it can have a positive impact on your brain and body. However, if you are just misusing the drug and abusing it for recreational purposes, you need to learn bout the side-effects of Adderall, and how it can ruin your CNS in the long run.
Adderall is a brand name used to indicate the combination of dextroamphetamine and amphetamine. These ingredients, even alone, are quite dangerous. When combined together into one drug, the side-effects increase exponentially.
When I was abusing Adderall, one of the major side-effects I experienced were the intense sessions of nervousness and restlessness. Some days, the drug-induced sheer euphoria. While on other days, it made me extremely nervous, scared, and restless. I couldn’t even begin to think of getting out of my house, let alone enjoy a social life.
However, with the heightened nervousness, I started using more and more Adderall to control it. This resulted in sheer paranoia, another major side-effect of Adderall. Paranoia comes with Adderall shortness of breath, and together, these side-effects can paralyze you mentally and emotionally.
This is not it. This is just the beginning. When I couldn’t stop myself from getting paranoid and nervous without any apparent reason, I started using higher doses of Adderall to achieve some form of calmness. This was a bad move.
One of the major and most talked about effects of Adderall is the disturbing patterns of sleep. When you cannot sleep, your brain cells do not get enough rest to recharge themselves. A sleep-deprived brain and body only result in a lack of energy to carry out daily activities, malnutrition, and overall weakness of the nervous system. When stretched far and for long periods of time, the brain can start losing its prowess and get weaker.
I would love to say that this was all, but it wasn’t. Another thing I experienced while using Adderall was Adderall chest pain. I was feeling fine and high, and out of nowhere, my chest began to pound rapidly and hurt as if someone placed a giant rock on my chest.
I had to lay down in the open to breathe properly, and I couldn’t get rid of the pain for hours. Once it was over, I was covered in sweats, and I tried my best to clean myself and get rid of this addiction.
Take it from me; there are more cons than positive effects of Adderall. If it gives you a day of euphoria, it also forces days of paranoia, pain, and lack of sleep. Get help now.
